Independent Canadian filmmaker Greg Hemmings has announced the release of A Heads Tale on DVD. The documentary was shot at various jamband music fesrivals in the United States and Canada during the summer of 2002. Footage from the Come Together Music festival in Ontario, and the Evolve Music and Awareness Festival in Antigonish Nova Scotia is included, as well as performances by Grand Theft Bus, Bull Frog, Jukejoint, the Jimmy Swift Band, The Slip, Drive-by Leslie, and Mark Wilson & The Way It Is. The DVD also features an additional Hemmings documentary titled Songs of Solidarity, which is based on a concert held in conjunction with the G8 Summit protests in Calgary last June. This film includes live footage of musicians such as Bruce Cockburn, Blue Quarter, Chris Brown, Dale ladoucer and Laura Vincen.
