Addison Groove Project Welcomes Guest Bassists at Berkfest
Bassists Brian OConnell and Garrett Sayers performed with Addison Groove Project Saturday at the Berkshire Mountain Music Festival in Great Barrington, MA. OConnell (Uncle Sammy, Gordon Stone) sat in on the first song of the show, a cover of The Mohawks Beat Me Til Im Blue. Sayers (The Motet, Miracle Orchestra) later joined in for the AGP original, The Reverend. The band is currently touring without a bassist, as John Hall radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Keyboardist Rob Marscher has been providing left-handed bass lines in his absence.
