Reid Genauer joined his former band at Strangefolks Garden of Eden Festival over the weekend in Plattsburgh, NY. Genauer took the stage for Dance, Reubens Place (with Neil Youngs Helpless sandwiched in between) and Alaska during the third set of Saturdays show. Phish bassist Mike Gordon also sat in on Open Road. Earlier in the day, Reid played a solo acoustic set and invited Strangefolk bassist Erik Glockler for Rachel and guitarist Jon Trafton for So Well and Two Boys.
Gordon and Genauer also performed with Max Creek on Saturday. Mike joined the band for Columbus Stockade Blues, In The Midnight Hour, and Back Porch Boogie Blues, while Reid added vocals to Midnight Hour. Gordon is a regular collaborator with the group and has enlisted guitarist Scott Murawski to tour with his solo band this fall, when Mike tours in support of his new album, Inside In.

Late Saturday night, RAQ was joined by all of the members of Strangefolk, who emerged at different points of Cheap Sunglasses and Listen to the Music. Drummer Luke Smith then remained for much of the set, adding improvised vocals and spoken word throughout.
Sunday marked Strangefolks last performance for the foreseeable future, as the group is now on indefinite hiatus. The bands final encore consisted of Maybe Im Amazed, Anchor and Like You Anyway.
