Michael Franti & Spearhead have released their fall tour schedule. The tour kicks off next Thursday, September 18, at Avalon in Hollywood, CA and will make stops along the West Coast through early October. After dates in the Montana, Utah and Colorado, the band heads to the Midwest and eventually the Northeast where the tour concludes on October 17 at BB King Blues Club in New York City. Spearhead will also tour with OAR in late October and early November. More dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
The group will be touring in support of its latest album, Everyone Deserves Music, released last month on Artist Direct Bmg. The disc features reggae legends Sly and Robbie (drummer Sly Dunbar and bassist Robbie Shakespeare) who have collaborated with countless artists, from Peter Tosh to Black Uhuru to No Doubt.
