Less than two weeks into its indefinite hiatus, Strangefolk has announced plans for a Halloween show at Johnson State College in Johnson, VT. Manager Allen Ostroy says this is the only confirmed show for the fall. The bands decision not to tour was extremely difficult for them after over a decade of the road, but they are more than excited to play for special occasions and holidays like this, says Ostroy. Strangefolks final show before going on hiatus came on August 31 at the 8th Annual Garden of Eden festival and included a reunion with co-founder Reid Genauer.
Tickets for the October 31st show are available now for JSC students. They go on sale to the general public on Monday, September 15 at 10 a.m., at the Flynn Theater box office in Burlington, by phone at 802-863-5966 or online.
