The Allman Brothers Band once again welcomed multiple special guests to the stage as the group continues the final leg of its summer tour. Last night at the Santa Barbara Bowl in California, saxophonist Karl Denson, vocalist/guitarist Susan Tedeschi and drummer John Molo collaborated with the ABB. Denson, who opened the show with his Tiny Universe, stepped in for Desdemona towards the beginning of the set. Tedeschi and Molo came out shortly after for Bob Dylans Dont Think Twice, Its Alright, as Butch Trucks, Marc Quinones and Jaimoe left the stage. Susan remained to play guitar on Statesboro Blues.
The Allman Brothers head to Vegas for a performance at The Joint this Friday. The full schedule is available at www.allmanbrothersband.com.
