The Mimi Fishman Foundation has announced its latest online charity auction, which runs through October 7. The auction features items from Phish, String Cheese Incident, Yonder Mountain String Band, Umphreys McGee, Medeski Martin &Wood and Michael Everett, among others. Bassist Ben Kaufmann (Yonder Mountain) has donated his first upright bass, with customized artwork and signatures by Kaufmann and artist Bryce Widon. String Cheese has contributed a signed drumhead that was used the bands recent summer tour. The auction also includes a limited edition, autographed poster from Phishs IT festival.
All proceeds will benefit Healing the Children, the Delta Gamma Center, as well as the Solace House. Since its inception in 1999, the Foundation has issued grants totaling more than $70,000. The official website is www.mimifishman.org.
