Widespread Panic bassist Dave Schools took the stage with Jerry Joseph & the Jackmormons last night at Fez Ballroom in Portland, OR as the band celebrated the release of its new CD, Mouthful of Copper. Schools, who produced the Jackmormons 2002 album, Conscious Contact, sat in for Road to Damascus > Shout > Road to Damascus to close the set. Guitarist Al Toribio of the Lea Kruger Band, which opened the show, stepped in for Gloryland -> World Will Turn > Prince of Denmark earlier in the night. Pedal steel guitarist Paul Brainard then joined for Bears that Dance and Conscious Contact. The set list also included a timely Red Sox jam as the team clinched the AL Wild Card last night.
