Radio Free Keller
Keller Williams is hosting a new radio show, which features gems from the musicians personal collection. My music collection grows almost daily, says Keller. It’s to the point where my CD’s are all over the floor and in danger of being stepped on. So, I decided to do an hour-long narrated mixed tape of my favorite stuff before it gets stepped on. The show, dubbed Keller’s Cellar, airs weekly on WUIN in Wilmington, NC, WPPG in Myrtle Beach, SC, KOTR in San Luis Obispo, CA, WQNR in Auburn, AL, KSPN in Aspen, CO, WBSD in Burlington, WI, KFMU in Steamboat Spring, CO and KTBG in Kansas City, MO. It can also be heard online at www.ktbg.fm. For specific airtimes, visit www.kellerwilliams.net.
‘Besides the normal FCC regulations, there are no rules,’ Williams tells Jambands.com in the current issue. ‘So I could play whatever is within arm’s reach, like Bobby McFerrin, Grateful Dead, R.E.M., Spearhead, String Cheese Incident, No Doubt, Todd Snider, Peter Frampton. No rules whatsoever, anything I feel like playing.’
Meanwhile, Keller is touring in support of his album, Home, and plays tonight at Club Laga in Pittsburgh, PA.
