Derek Trucks took the stage with Widespread Panic Friday at Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis, TN. Midway through the second set, Trucks added guitar to Stop-Go > Drums > Arleen > In A Hopeless World. Derek Trucks Band drummer Yonrico Scott also added percussion to a portion of the set. Trucks has sat in with Panic a handful of times, dating back to March of 1994.
Saturday at AmSouth Amphitheater in Antioch, TN, fiddler Vassar Clements joined the group for The Take Out, Pickin Up The Pieces and Porch Song in the second set. Percussionist Hunter Williams also came out for Thin Air (Smells Like Mississippi).
