Phish, which will open a four show run on Friday culminating with its 20th Anniversary celebration at the Fleet Center on December 2, has announced that it will release of three of its 2003 performances via multi-CD sets. This endeavor, intended to appeal to those fans who are not quite comfortable with the Live Phish Downloads service, will offer three of the most popular downloads from the past year: 2/28/03 {Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale, NY), 7/15/03 (USANA Amphitheatre, West Valley City, UT) and 7/29/03 (Post-Gazette Pavilion at Star Lake, Burgettstown, PA). These three-CD sets will not be marketed as part of Elektra’s Live Phish series which is currently on hiatus……Tom Tom Club toaster Mystic Bowie will perform with Deep Banana Blackout at its gig this evening at Toad’s Place in New Haven CT. Rob Volo and Jen Durkin (of Bomb Squad AMA performance fame) will also reunite with the band as they did at the Gathering of The Vibes this past summer…..The Doors’ Ray Manzarek hosts The Temples Of Rock this Sunday from 9-11PM on the Travel Channel.
