Lentopalooza Benefit This Sunday To Support Longtime Wetlands Staffer….......RAQ adds December Shows….......Jeff Austin Has Plenty of Friends

Lentopalooza will take place this Sunday at NYCs Knitting Factory. Chris Lento was a longtime Wetlands bartender who recently underwent two surgeries for a brain aneurysm. The Wetlands staff will be on hand to reminiscence, raise money for Lentos medical bills and of course, to rock. A range of music will take place (including the much anticipated karaoke from former Wetlands custodian Rodney Speed)..........
RAQ has announced its final dates of the year. The band will open two shows for Karl Densons Tiny Universe: at the State Theater in Portland, ME on December 11 and at The TLA in Philadelphia on December 12. This will be followed by its own gig at Tammany Hall in Worcester on December 13. RAQ will close out 2003 opening up for Addison Groove Project on New Years Eve at the Paradise in Boston….......

Yonder Mountain String Bands Jeff Austin will perform two Jeff Austin & Friends gigs this weekend. The first of these will take place tonight in Denver at Cervantes where Austin will be joined by his Yonder bandmate Dave Johnson along with Ross Martin and Matt Flinner. Tomorrow night Johnson is also slated to join Austin while with the rest of the ‘Friends’ remain unannounced (leading many to speculate they will also include Ben Kaufmann and Adam Aijala for a stealth hometown Yonder gig).
