The Allman Brothers Band will return to New York’s Beacon Theatre this March with eight shows confirmed thus far for March 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 25, 26 and 27 (with an official on-sale date of January 8). Portions of the group’s 2003 Beacon run will appear on a new double disc that Peach/Sanctuary will issue this March (the untitled release will offer the 15 songs from the Live At The Beacon Theatre DVD plus four additional tracks: ‘Every Hungry Woman,’ ‘Trouble No More,’ ‘Wasted Words’ and ‘Good Morning Little Schoolgirl.’) The group will be out and about while gigging in the city including a March 16 performance on Late Night With Conan O’Brien.
