While there are no Flecktones shows scheduled until March, the individual members of the group will be touring in January and February. Bassist Victor Wooten will hit the road with a band that also features his brothers Reggie and Josef, with a brief east coast leg beginning on January 7 at the Water St. Music Hall in Rochester, NY followed by two weeks of shows to the west opening in Boulder at the Fox Theatre on January 30. Meanwhile saxophonist Jeff Coffins southeast tour will also begin on January 30 at Cafleven in St. Augustine FL, concluding on February 12 at Rhythm and Brews in Chattanooga TN, with a roster of players yet to be announced. The groups namesake, Bela Fleck, will be out on the road for most of February with Edgar Meyer (along with a January 24 show at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles with some additional dates likely to follow). As for the enigmatic RoyEl aka Future Man, he remains, well, enigmatic with no announced performances.
