Oklahoma’s Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey will return to the somewhat-less-temperate northeast for a string of shows at the end of February. The tour will kick off on February 22 at the Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River, MA, the site of two notable gigs by FOJFJO (Friends of Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey) The Slip, this past November. The trio will also perform two acoustic performances at NYC’s Tonic on the 25th before the tour concludes on February 28th at The Buttonwood Tree in Middletown, CT. The band’s recent release is Slow Breath, Silent Mind a collection of live music from JFJO’s fall 2003 tour produced by bass player Reed Mathis.
