Electron, which is comprised of Marc Brownstein, Aron Magner Joe Russo and Tom Hamilton will be multi-tracking their April 10 show at BB Kings in New York City. As a result the quartet is requesting that tapers do not record the performance which the band hopes to use for an album. At Discobiscuits.com, Brownstein comments, ‘I promise to you that if it is material that we decide not to release, I will make a nice, juicy, multi-track mix-down of the show, and give it to you guys. Either way, it will be the best sounding Electron recording we have ever had…So I ask for all of you tapers, to leave your rigs at home and allow us to do the taping for one night. We do appreciate all of the hard work you have done over the years, and for one night, its okay to not worry about that beer spilling on your rig, or your tape running out, or that really crazy guy knocking over your Schoeps. Relax, and enjoy the show.’
