Brothers Past and Other Albany Greenery

Green Apple isn’t the only festival celebrating Earth Day this spring. On April 22, Brothers Past will headline the CEG Green Living Concert at Albany, NY’s the Egg. In addition to Brothers Past, the day-long festivity will feature performances by Percy Hill, Apollo Sunshine, the Ryan Montbleau Band and Scarecrow Collection. Brothers Pasts’ Tom Hamilton will also perform a short acoustic set that afternoon, presumably drawing from his new American Babies project.

‘Nothing Too Fancy’ for moe.

moe. opened its three night stand at the House of Blues in Las Vegas last night. We’re still waiting for reviews of former daily news editor Jeff Waful’s light show but reports are in on the music itself. The night, which began a bit after 1AM and concluded shortly after 5AM, featured two fully-segued sets. In addition, Umphrey’s McGee commanded the stage at the outset of the second set for a version of ‘Nothing Too Fancy.’ moe. returns to the HOB tonight (as does Waful) while Umphrey’s is across town at Club Rio.
