Two weeks after Lollapalooza’s sudden cancellation, the String Cheese Incident has finalized its amended summer schedule. Mixing theater dates and outdoor shed stops, the Colorado-bred band will spend July and August playing the West Coast and Midwest, hitting up West Virginia’s Jerry Garcia’s Birthday Bash Music Fest & Campout along the way. A special two-night stand at Telluride’s Town Park will close out the group’s revised summer outing.
Keeping with the charitable spirit of Perry Farrell’s ill-fated traveling festival, the Conscious Alliance Food Drive will table throughout String Cheese Incident’s summer run. Opening spots from Keller Williams, Spearhead, Zilla and Big Head Todd & the Monsters also dot the group’s two-month trek.
While Lollapalooza’s cancellation forced String Cheese Incident to pull out of several East Coast headlining spots, the group is expected to return east this fall.
