Though The Disco Biscuits will remain off the road until Labor Days moe.down festival, keyboardist Aron Magner has confirmed a slew of extra-curricular activities in the coming months. On August 4, Magner will make his first Moshi appearance with production partner Omen at the Vibe Oasis party, held at Bostons Club Axis. The duo joins a jam-packed bill that also includes DJ Monk, Kenny Muhammad, Knowledge, DJ Christopher, Casseroc, and DJ Drama for an event scheduled to stretch well into the morning. The keyboardist will also team-up with Brothers Past guitarist Tom Hamilton for an August 7 acoustic performance at New Yorks Knitting Factory.
Magner will also debut two new live projects at the Second Sunrise Festival, held in Ithaca, NY the weekend of September 10. Along with longtime Disco Biscuits associate Mike Greenfield, Magner will conduct The Second Sunrise Orchestra, in addition to joining members of the Quagmire Swim Team as Magner’s Gnarly Pool Party. Finally, Magners longtime side-project Moshi-Moshi will play a late night set on August 20 at New Jerseys Nugroove Music Festival. Please click here for all ticket information and show times.
