Bill Martin will score the writings of Paul Auster on Friday October 22 at New Yorks Symphony Space. The MMW percussionist will perform a series of live sound soundscapes complimenting Austers prose for two shows, commencing at 7:30 and 9:30 respectively. Auster, a Newark native, is known in the literary world for his poems, essays, novels and translations, as well as the scripts for films like Smoke. Martin has assembled a unique performance ensemble for this pair of shows, weaving in DJs, percussionists, reeds players and drums.
