Ivan Bumps Umphrey’s (But Not Harvestfest)

Due to the current projected path of Hurricane Ivan, New Orleans is currently on voluntary evacuation. Given this course of events, Umphrey’s McGee’s Wednesday appearance at Tipitina’s Uptown has been canceled. However, on the road and ever eager to gig, the band has landed another Wednesday show as UM will perform at George’s Majestic in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Umphrey’s is also one of the group’s currently slated for this weekend’s Harvestfest which as of this moment will go on. The festival web site indicates, ‘For those watching theweather, the forecasts show that Northeast Georgia could get some rain this week. But rest assured this is a rain or shine festival – we’re going on as planned and we’ll keep you updated through this website should anything change.’

Back to Umphrey’s,

tonight the group is at the Library in Oxford, MS.
