Saturday nights gig in his home state of Florida proved to be an apt setting for Derek Trucks to invite two family members onto the stage. During the first set younger brother Duane appeared on drums for a cover of Impressions. Later in the evening Dereks wife Susan Tedeschi contributed guitar to Freddie’s Dead, and also vocals to the closing tandem of Gonna Move and Joyful Noise. In addition, guitarist Floyd Miles stepped in during You Must Be Crazy. The DTB tour picks up on Thursday in Gadsden, AL at the Center for Cultural Arts.
