Tonight the New Deal will take a break from its road hiatus, performing at the Water Street Music Hall in Rochester, NY. The New Deal been off the road since January 2005, except for a Canada Day performance in July and an opening spot for Talib Kweli at the University of Vermont earlier this month. On Saturday, the Canadian trio will perform at Boston, MA’s Middle East, with special guest Audible Mainframe, before keyboardist Jamie Shields dips down to New York for a lone Halloween. The New Deal announced a few additional dates through the end of the year, including stops in Ithaca (11/18), Philadelphia (11/19) and New York (11/26-27).
