The mid-80’s marked the day of the Dinosaurs. This group featured a number of artists who had first garnered acclaim in the San Francisco scene of the 1960’s. The roster included Merl Saunders, John Cipollina, Peter Albin, Spencer Dryden and Papa John Creach. A new two CD set, Friends of Extinction, will present a remixed version of the group’s 1988 release along with a series of live performances recorded during that era.
