It what reportedly had something of the feel of an old-school Wetlands night (at least from a musical perspective) John Popper performed with Gov’t Mule on Friday night at the Showbox in Seattle. Popper, who is in town working on the next Blues Traveler studio effort, appeared for the three songs that closed out the second set: 32-20 Blues, Hide Your Love Away and Sco-Mule. Then for the encore, founding Heart guitarist Roger Fisher also joined in for Going Down and Jesus Just Left Chicago. Govt Mule wrapped up its west coast tour this weekend and is now off until

its New Years Eve run which begins on December 27.
