The Derek Trucks Band invited a number of guest musicians to the stage over the past week. The groups Avalon shows which took place featured a reunion with former vocalist Javier Colon (I Believe) as well as participation from Trucks wife Susan Tedeschi who also joined the band for a few songs the previous night and at the following show as well. Most recently, this past Friday at Philadelphias Theater Of The Living Arts, the Campbell Brothers took the stage with the band. In a measure of respect for all three musicians, the DTB invited the Campbells to the stage individually, with Chuck performing pedal steel on Volunteered Slavery and Going Down Slow, Philip contributing guitar to For My Brother and Darick on lap steel during Soul Serenade.
