RAQ has just confirmed its first major tour of the year. The band will pick it up on January 26 at the Stone Church in Newmarket, NH and remaining the northeast through early February before traveling to the Midwest and then on out to the west coast. From here RAQ will swing back towards its Vermont home via a southern route that will include stops in Arkansas and Alabama as well as a gig opening for moe. at Atlantas Tabernacle on March 4. A few weeks later the group will deliver two nights at the new Higher Ground in Burlington on April 8 and 9. RAQ describes its sound as aggressive improvisational rock and we don’t disagree.
