Jamaican-born Mystic Bowie has tapped a number of his friends and colleagues to perform with him at a benefit concert to aid his homeland this weekend. On Sunday his concert for Jamaican Hurricane Relief will direct proceeds to homes destroyed by hurricane Ivan this past fall. Numerous acts are set to perform at the show which will take place at Amberjacks in Norwalk, CT beginning at 2:30 in the afternoon, including sets from Melvin Sparks, the Bombs Squad and Mystic Bowie and the Pallbearers. The night, hosted by the Tom Tom Clubs Chris Frantz, Tina Weymouth, will conclude with a group jam session.
