$100,000 Tonic

The situation now appears to be dire for New York City venue, Tonic. The club which has gone a long way towards fostering experimental music, has now announced that unless it raises $100,000 it will be forced to close down. An increase in rent along with building maintenance costs, increase insurance premiums and related considerations have collectively crated the current situation. In addition to a series of benefit performance, the club is encouraging patrons to make donations and also to write testimonials as to the clubs import.
