Acetate will release its debut album, This Band Makes Me Feel , on March 22. A home-spun recording from a trio of high-profile musicians, Dave Schools (Widespread Panic) Kevin Sweeney (Sunshine Fix) and Ben Mize (Counting Crows, Cracker), the new disc was recorded in Schools basement. In a recent Jambands.com interview, Schools describes Acetates sound as power pop which sort of sounds like if ZZ Top ran into Cheap Trick’s tour van. On February 22, Widespread Panic will also release _ Live at Myrtle Beach _, the fourth live set issued since the sextet veered off the road in December 2003.
