Your world champion Boston Red Sox will open their 2005 regular season on April 3 against the New York Yankees (a team that has not won a championship in the 21st century BUT Bernie Williams is a superior guitar player to Bronson Arroyo, and lest you forget, performed at the 2001 Jammys). The baseball-boosters in the Bomb Squad will celebrate the onset of the season on the preceding evening with a show at the Middle East Club in Cambridge, MA. The group is encouraging folks to don the merch of their favorite team (the Squads loyalties are divided). The band will be on the east coast through March and April including a St Patrick’s Day show with Bonerama at the Funk Box in Baltimore on March 17 during which drummer Eric Bolivar will perform with both groups (oh yes, and as for the April 2 show at the Middle East, the Bomb Squad wishes to emphasize, ‘No Bats Please).
