73 year old Hubert Sumlin made the rounds on Saturday night. Early in the evening he appeared with the Allman Brothers Band at the Beacon Theater during 44 Blues and Smokestack Lightning. After the show he carpooled out to Mexicali Blues in Teaneck, NJ with Derek Trucks. There the two guitarists performed with the Codetalkers for three songs including Spoonful and Lovelight.
