Donna Hopkins and Ralph Roddenbery to Record DVDs Tomorrow

This Friday night, two of Atlanta’s most popular musicians, Donna Hopkins and Ralph Roddenbery, will perform alternating sets that will be recorded for a future DVD. This will appear on the Dynasonic label which also released the Zambifest 3-CD Live compilation which benefits the Ricky Keller Foundation. Hopkins will be joined by Brian Ashley Jones (bass, acoustic guitar) and Richie Jones (drums, percussion) for the show. Ralph Roddenbery (Atlanta’s Organic Pied Piper) will kick off the night and then perform again after Hopkins first set. He will be joined by his longtime musical associate Chris Rotch (guitar), Tommy Jones (bass), Shelley Wolfe (drums) and The Mayor of the Atlanta music scene, Chris Larson (percussion). Roddenbery will offer some brand new material, as well as favorites from his Live At Tree Sound Studios release. Report by Rob Turner
