Good news from the good people at Tonic. The endangered avant garde music venue has reached its fundraising goals and will remain open. Thanks to the support of marquee acts like Medeski, Martin and Wood, Yo La Tengo and Jim O’Rourke, among many others, the club raised over $80,000 in a matter of weeks.Currently, club promoters are planning a Thank You party which will also likely draw a few notable names. Acts scheduled to perform in the coming weeks include Antibalas and Steven Bernstein’s Millennial Territory Orchestra
