Edgar Winter closed the evening with a two-song set, inviting DJ Logic onstage for an extended version of ‘Frankenstein.’ Particle’s Steven Molitz also led the Jason Miles Band through ‘Launchpad’ while Dream Theater’s Jordan Rudess collaborated with Dixie Dregs/Jazz is Dead-alumnus Rod Morgenstein. DEODATO tipped his hat to the moog by performing his arrangement of ‘Also Sprach Zarathustra’ backed by Jason Miles and his band.
