Following Zooma’s cancellation, Trey Anastasio has lined up a brief eight-day tour with his band, 70 Volt Parade. Anastasio will take a break from recording his new studio album for a series of small amphitheater and park dates sprinkled throughout the country in early August. Following the blueprint established on his spring tour, the former Phish guitarist will bolster his show with a mix of opening acts including Gov’t Mule, Sound Tribe Sector 9 and Matisyahu, who collaborated with Anastasio at Bonnaroo last weekend. Anastasio will kick off his tour at Boston’s Bank of America Pavilion on August 4 before making stops in Philadelphia, Wantagh, NY, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Chicago, St. Louis and Morrison, CO. As previously reported, Anastasio will appear at the 10,000 Lakes Festival on July 24 and open for the Rolling Stones on October 6.
