Would you like to explore the Northern Rockies and see top notch artists like Bob Dylan, Widespread Panic, Steve Kimock, Ben Harper and Ani DiFranco in some of our nation’s most scenic venues along the way? The innovative new company, Jammin’ Journeys is offering small groups (limited to 7 participants) some incredible music and outdoor vacations. JJ’s packages will feature flexible itineraries and spontaneity combined with prearranged transportation, lodging, dining and guided activities (not to mention concert tickets), making for an ideal way to discover the American west.
This is the brain child of former ESPN adventure television producer and avid music fan Bob Ambrose. His respect for the spectacular beauty of the Northern Rockies, and love of activities such as rafting, river-boarding, hiking, and mountain biking, as well as for quality music – provided the seed for Jammin Journeys.

Most of the music fans I have come across not only share my appreciation for summer festivals but also a passion for actively enjoying the outdoors, says Ambrose. Personally, these are some of the things I enjoy most in life, the near perfect harmony of nature and music. There is nothing better after a day of running rapids on a river-board or hiking into a wilderness lake than enjoying a great concert under the mountain sky.
This summer Jammin Journeys will also provide self-guided options for independent travelers wishing to forgo the small group and go at their own pace. It is the same combination of pre-packaged fun, lodging and music but allows clients to provide their own transportation. Reporting By Rob Turner
