This past April, Jimmy Herring returned to the stage with former ARU bandmate and partner in Zambi, Col. Bruce Hampton for a tour with the Codetalkers. In August Herring will once again gig with the group on a few select dates. The most notable may be the Jerry Garcia Birthday Bash which will take place on Sunshine Daydreams Farm in Terra Alta, West Virginia on August 5-6. Herring and the Codetalkers will appear on day two and it is certainly fitting that Bob Weirs RatDog will perform both nights. The roster also includes Israel Vibrations, The David Nelson Band, ekoostik hookah and many others. Meanwhile, back to Codetalkers news, the group is looking to early 2006 for release of its next studio effort.
