The Bomb Squad will celebrate Independence Day by visiting a northern neighbor. On July 4, the Connecticut-based band will play two sets on the Montreal Jazz Festivals General Motors Scene stage. Other acts scheduled to play the multi-day festival include Pat Metheny, John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, Stanley Clark, Bela Fleck and Medeski Martin and Wood. A few days earlier, the Bomb Squad will open for George Clinton at the Church of Universal Love and Music Festival. On the eve of its performance at Montreal Jazz Fest, the Squad will also make a stop at Club Rivoli in Toronto for a performance which falls during the final night of the citys Downtown Jazz Festival.

In the coming weeks, the Bomb Squad will continue to perform at festivals throughout the east coast. Confirmed dates include appearances at Coldbrook, NYs Rockin Beatz Festival on July 16, South Norwalk, CTs Sono Arts Festival on August 5 and Newark, NJs City Festival on August 18. Additional festival appearances will be announced in the coming weeks.
