Keller Williams, Umphrey’s McGee, Groovatron, Victor Wooten, Ekoostik Hookah, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Mofro, Papa Mali and Ray’s Music Exchange, among others, will participate in the Friends uv Nature & Knowledge (F.U.N.K.) Festival on August 27 and 28. Held at Bean Blossom, INs Bill Monroe Music Park, F.U.N.K. will combine the atmosphere of a music and camping festival with workshops on nature, nature awareness and survival skills, as well as talks on social and environmental issues. Drawing strongly from Victor Wooten’s successful Bass Nature Camp, The F.U.N.K. Festival hopes to offer the festival community an opportunity to learn and grow through the music.

In addition, F.U.N.K. participant, and current Jambands.com New Groove of the Month, Groovatron will support Les Claypool July 22nd at Chicago’s Vic Theatre. Claypool will be in town to also perform his only 2005 show with Primus at Lollapalooza on July 23.
