A number of Jerry Garcia’s friends and associates will appear on Sirius radio’s day long tribute on August 9. Among the luminaries reflecting on the tenth anniversary of Garcia’s passing are Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann, Mickey Hart, Warren Haynes, Michael Franti, Derek Trucks, Keller Williams, Butch Trucks, Buddy Cage, John Popper, Jorma Kaukonen, members of moe., as well as Sirius listeners. Garcia’s music, including Grateful Dead, solo projects, and his work with others, will be featured all day, along with cover versions of his music by other artists. The music will begin on 3AM Tuesday on Sirius’ Jam_On station. Listeners can also tune in to Relix’s own Jon Schwartz every morning at from 7 am – 1 pm EST.
