Beginning in 1983, Jaclyn LaBranch toured with the Jerry Garcia Band, joining Gloria Jones on background vocals. The pair will reunite once again tomorrow at the Gathering of the Vibes. While Jones had been confirmed, LaBranch was just added to the Saturday night tribute to Jerry Garcia and the music of the Grateful Dead. The two will join their fellow longtime JGB member Melvin Seals along with Dark Star Orchestra, Keller Williams, Martin Fierro, Peter Rowan, David Nelson, Donna Jean Godchaux-MacKay and Tom Constanten. The Gathering begins today and continues through the weekend at Indian Lookout Country Club in Mariaville, NY.
