A year ago we reported on a fan-driven effort to collect artistic interpretation of Phish and its music. Over the past twelve-months Phanart: The Art of the Fans of Phish has collected work from a number of scene-approved artists including Scramble Campbell, Jason Lees, Jason Kaczorowski, Emek and AJ Masthay, among many others. The full-color coffee table book has also announced that its publishers will donate all net proceeds to The Mockingbird Foundation, a non-profit organization created by Phish fans to support music education. Interviews with prominent members of the Phish community will round out the collection tentatively set for a fall 2006 release. Fans can contribute, and participate in a number of contests, through the projects webpage.
