Chuck Leavell is currently in Toronto rehearsing with the Rolling Stones for their upcoming tour (which opens this weekend at Bostons Fenway Park). However last night he took some time to appear once again with the first notable group to invite him on tour. Leavell was only twenty years old back in 1972 when he began performing with the Allman Brothers Band following the death of Duane Allman the previous October. Last night he rejoined the ABB for a few songs including Stormy Monday and Don’t Keep me Wondering, while adding his signature piano lines to Jessica.
