Less than a week since its moe.down festivities came to a close, moe. is already looking ahead to its next multi-day gathering . From March 17-19, moe. will host Snoe.down 2006 at Lake Placid, NYs Olympic Center. moe. will perform both Friday and Saturday night at the Olympic Center’s 1980 Rink Herb Brooks Arena, with several as-of-yet announced bands performing at various venues throughout the weekend. Great Northeast Productions, good folks behind Phishs trademark festivals, will also help make the weekend a multi-media experience. Sports fans will be able to take advantage of Lake Placids winter activities which include skiing and snowboarding at the nearby Whiteface Mountain, bobsled and luge rocket rides and ski jumping. And, yes, fans will have the option of ice skating while listening to moe.s performance. In more moe.news, the groups late-night Vegoose spot has been switched to The Alladin Theatre on October 29. The upstate also New York-bred quintet will once gain travel downstate to host its annual Thanksgiving celebration from November 25-26 at Manhattans Roseland Ballroom.
