After a brief break, The Allman Brothers Band is back on the road for a few additional 2005 dates. Friday night the group performed at St. Louis, MOs UMB Pavilion along with Lucinda Williams and Antigone Rising. St. Louis also happens to be the stomping grounds of Gregg Allmans son Devon, who joined his father on vocals for Midnight Rider. Like his half-brother Elijah Blue, Devon has followed in his fathers footsteps performing in a wide range of bands including his current project Honeytribe. In the five-piece blues-rock combo, the younger Allman handles both guitar and vocal duties and is currently working on a full-length Honeytribe album. In addition, Devon Allman has earned a following abroad and can be currently heard on guitarist Javier Vargas

hit European single How Verso Are You.
The Allman Brothers Bands tour continues tomorrow night at Kansas City, MOs Uptown Theatre. Honeytribe will perform next at Grill Fenton, MOs Stratford Bar

on September 30. At press time, Gregg Allmans ill received album with Devons step-mom Cher, Allman and Woman: Two the Hard Way, is still out of print.
