With the Dirty Dozen Brass Band currently off the road until Vegoose, guitarist Jamie McLean has dedicated much of the month to performing with his own group. Last night at the Music Farm in Charleston, South Carolina his band completed a run of shows opening for Umphrey’s McGee. To mark the occasion, McLean came out early in the second set replacing Brendan Bayliss for an extended Jimmy Stewart. The Jamie McLean Band is in Greenville tonight and will remain in the Carolinas through the weekend, while Umphreys is in Florida over the next two nights before heading out west.
