Smoking Monkeys and Ceremonial Music: Billy Martins Short Film To Premiere Next Month

_ A Path To Ogun_ is the name of an 8 minute short film directed and produced by MMW drummer Billy Martin. It would appear that anyone who attends will certainly get eight minutes of entertainment, as evinced the following description: When a robot becomes lost in the wilderness, it is introduced to a supernatural-spirit world that attempts to transform its consciousness. Encounters with a smoking monkey, a talking toy piano and other characters watch and guide the robot throughout its journey. The accompanying soundtrack includes ceremonial music from Central Africa and Brazil. _ A Path To Ogun_ will debut on November 14th as part of the NY Film and Video Festival Village East Cinemas Theater 6.
