Scrapomatic, the duo consisting of Derek Trucks Band vocalist Mike Mattison along with Paul Olsen, will add an opening set and lend to the extended family vibe of the Derek Trucks Band’s New Year’s Eve. The show, which will take place at Atlantas Variety Playhouse, already is a co-bill with Trucks wife Susan Tedeschi and her group.
Looking ahead into 2006, the DTB, which has a studio album, Songlines, set for February 7 release, will support the disc with a tour that will reach both coasts. Confirmed dates begin on January 13 at the Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, CT and conclude on February 25 at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, CA. Tonight the group appears at Headliners Music Hall in Louisville, KY.
