Tea Leaf Green closed out its multi-night run with Govt Mule Saturday at Cincinnatis Taft Theatre. During Tea Leaf Greens opening set, Warren Haynes officially sanctioned the newly crowned jamband princes by joining the group on Incandescent Devil and then inviting guitarist Josh Clark and keyboardist Trevor Garrod onstage for That’s What Love Will Make You Do during his own set. Later on, none other than Cincinnati-resident Peter Frampton showed up to lend his vocal skills to Mules encore of Ray Charles I Believe To My Soul and Born Under A Bad Sign.

Riding a recent wave of attention following the release of its latest album, Taught to be Proud, Tea Leaf Green has also launched a live concert download series and confirmed a handful of 2006 dates. After ringing in the New Year with a two-night run at San Franciscos The Independent, the group will play a series of Colorado dates beginning with an appearance at Breckenridges Sherpa & Yeti’s on January 10 and concluding with a two-night stand at Vail, COs Sandbar Sports Grill on January 20 and 21.
